Oliver inherited his artistic side from his mother and a love of making things from his father. Following a foundation course in art and design at Oxford Polytechnic (now Oxford Brookes University) he went on to study furniture design at the well-equipped workshops of Ravensbourne College in South London.
He started Oliver Legge Furniture from a garage in his garden in 2004, moving on to a shared workshop in Tottenham, sharing ideas and techniques with the other craftspeople working there.
In 2008 Oliver returned to Oxford so his daughter could start school locally. He took on his own workshop and the business has gradually expanded since then. Oliver regularly invests in new equipment and with his team is always looking to enhance their skill sets to undertake more complex and interesting projects.
Oliver is passionate about design and loves taking commissions and making a difference to the way his clients live in their homes.
